Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for eliciting requirements from stakeholders for 3rd party business system needs, researching and documenting 3rd party business system capabilities and features, and analyzing their fit with the business requirements. You will manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors, and solve problems as they arise, including mediating conflicting and ambiguous requirements, stakeholder opinions, and vendor priorities. You will also be responsible for managing projects of these analyses as well as 3rd party business system implementations to ensure that they are completed on time while communicating effectively with all stakeholders on project progress and risks. Competencies needed to successfully perform this job: Strong analytical acumen; solid interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Must be highly organized and work quickly; easily handle and adapt to numerous and shifting priorities; knows how to balance being methodical and systematic with business urgency Must be able to translate stakeholder needs into clear, well-organized requirements Strong project management skills including shaping project deliverables and milestones, communicating clear and timely status with stakeholders, ensuring quality deliverables, and managing project scope; experience with project management tools required (e.g., Asana) Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; solid research skills Willingness and strong desire to learn and expand technical skills whether through business or personal means Must be a problem solver and self-starter Strong relationship management abilities and customer service orientation Agile project management exposure nice to have Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements especially for build-buy-partner decisions of 3rd party system purchases Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Develop requirements specifications. Critically document and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Define and manage projects of 3rd party system implementations Assist in selecting consultants for 3rd party system implementations where needed Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Communicate effectively with stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or comparable work experience 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis or comparable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills Experience with a variety of tools and technologies for collaboration and analysis Salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000.
