About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Technology/ Chief Information Officer to lead the development and implementation of the institution's information technology strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the IT vision, in line with industry best practices, and ensuring that the College's technological systems effectively support its goals. This role involves close collaboration with college leadership, faculty, and students to identify and leverage technology for enhanced efficiency, innovation, and student success. The AVP/CIO will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, overseeing the IT department, and managing the IT budget to support the institution's technology initiatives. Applicants should ideally possess a Master's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, and have 7-10 years' of experience in information technology and resource management. Key qualifications include project and budget management skills, extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications, as well as technical expertise in networking, databases, web development, and user support. The role requires experience in developing and implementing IT standards, procedures, and guidelines, as well as a strong background in cybersecurity and data privacy regulations. The AVP/CIO will also be responsible for supervising the IT department and must have a proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.
