Job Description

We are recruiting a National Sales Manager for our client in the apparel and gift industry. The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading teams, driving sales growth and market penetration across all brick & mortar specialty retail channels. This role involves leading and mentoring both external sales representatives and internal staff, managing multiple showrooms and tradeshows annually, and executing comprehensive sales strategies using data-driven insights.

This role is hybrid, based in Atlanta, GA, and will require travel to home office and trade shows.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to drive revenue growth
  • Lead and mentor both external sales representatives and internal customer service teams to achieve sales targets
  • Manage multiple showrooms and tradeshows annually, from layout planning and merchandising to staffing
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key retail partners and stakeholders to expand market presence
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM and other technologies to enhance sales performance, customer relationship management, and reporting

Skills & Experience:

  • Strategic sales leadership with 8+ years of experience in independent retail channels
  • Proven track record managing sales teams including rep group organizations
  • Data analysis expertise and technology proficiency with CRM systems
  • Product merchandising and tradeshow management experience (Atlanta and Dallas)
  • Strong client relationship development skills with history of exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel 25% or more
