We are looking for Sales Professionals / Yacht Brokers that will play a key role in driving sales of new and pre-owned boats, while also securing and managing brokerage listings on Lake Michigan from Chicago, IL to Racine, WI .This role requires a client-focused approach and strong communication and sales skills. Having a deep understanding of the boating industry is a plus, but not necessarily required. The successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter and recognize that business is built on client satisfaction and relationships, and will devote themselves to exceeding client expectations. Responsibilities Establish and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and clients before, during, and after the sale. Secure listings for brokerage/consignment. Market and advertise listings effectively to maximize visibility and sales potential. Show and demonstrate boats in the showroom, at off-site displays, boat shows, and on the water. Prospect new clients and diligently follow up with previous contacts to generate sales. Develop expert knowledge of our new boat product lines, their features, and available accessories. Utilize CRM and dealer tools (HubSpot, Lightspeed DMS, Boats Group) to maintain accurate client and prospect records, promote engaging, professional, and accurate listings, and ensure accurate paperwork. Bring buyers and sellers together in a timely manner with prices and terms that meet both parties' needs. Accurately compute and quote sales prices, including taxes, trade-in allowances, and fees. Work with financing and business managers to communicate options and requirements for financing. Oversee the delivery of each sold unit and ensure a seamless Introduce clients to dealership service teams to highlight the quality and efficiency of service operations and after-sales client care. Lead and participate in client events, including boat shows, open houses, and on-water demo days. Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times. Demonstrate basic seamanship skills (training available). Successfully complete all required training programs, including licensing requirements where applicable. Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry regulations. Conduct all activities in an ethical, legal, and professional manner that aligns with company values. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of paperwork and client follow-ups Maintain an organized and presentable showroom and work environment. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Meet targets for total sales volume and gross profit Maintain high internal and external satisfaction levels. Other duties as directed.
